Department of Public Health

The City of El Paso Department of Public Health provides free confidential or anonymous HIV testing Tuesdays 8-11am and 1-4pm at 5115 El Paso Dr. Suite B and Wednesdays and Fridays at 222 S. Campbell 1-4pm. No appointment is necessary. Call 915.771.5888 for more information.

International AIDS Empowerment

International AIDS Empowerment is a peer-based HIV/AIDS service organization that provides quality care, prevention, and social services to people infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS.

La Fe CARE

La Fe CARE Center offers free confidential or anonymous rapid HIV testing and counseling Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.

University Medical Center

University Medical Center offers low cost STI screenings for men and women. The male clinic is available every Tuesday from 4:30 - 7:00pm

Delta Lambda Phi - Beta Tau Chapter

The Delta Lambda Phi Beta Tau Chapter at UTEP Provides a close-knit bond of brotherhood for its members and is involved with numerous efforts to serve and empower the LGBT community in the El Paso region.

El Paso Sun City Pride

El Paso Sun City Pride focuses on uniting the LGBT community through pride events held during gay pride month. EPSCP hosts many fundraising activities and charitable events throughout the year and offers scholarships to area high school students.

EPCC GSA

EPCC Gay-Straight Alliance provides El Paso Community College students, faculty, and staff with educational resources and provides a bridge of unity between LGBT students, faculty and staff and their straight allies.

Queer Student Alliance

The Queer Student Alliance works with the University of Texas at El Paso LGBT community and meets every first and third Wednesday of every month. All are welcomed and encouraged to attend.

Rainbow Miner Initiative

The Rainbow Miner Initiative at UTEP creates an environment that embraces difference, sustain inclusion, and cultivates a campus that is free from bias. The vision of RMI is to ensure the UTEP campus is welcoming and inviting for al students, faculty, administration, and staff, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.

InSpot is an online STD partner notification resource. It provides an anonymous way to let your partners know that they may have contracted a Sexually Transmitted Disease and where they can get tested.

It Gets Better is a video project to show LGBT youth that things get better after high school. It is a response to recent high profile bullying cases involving LGBT youth.

Queer Attitude is a website for LGBT youth that offers networking to get support, give advice, and chat with peers from all over the world.

Mpowerment Project

The Mpowerment Project is a model HIV prevention program that has been specifically designed to address the needs of young gay and bisexual men. Scientific studies demonstrate that the program reduces the rates of unprotected anal intercourse among this group and thus lowers the rate of new HIV infection. The M Factor is an Mpowerment Project site.
