We are members of El Paso's gay community who's mission is to reduce the number of new HIV infections among young gay and bisexual men. The most effective way to acheive this is by educating, empowering, and unting the community to unite against homophobia, low self-esteem, and risky behavior among young gay and bi men. |

The Core Group |

The Core Group is the deciding body of The M Factor. Comprised of 10-12 gay and bisexual men, the Core Group is responsible for implementing events for The M Factor, collaborating with other agencies, and ensuring its success in addressing the needs of the gay community. David Peralta-Torres has been the coordinator of The M Factor since December 2009. David is reponsible for many of the educational components for M Factor and presents within the community on topics dealing with HIV and related issues. David is also responsible for much of M Factor's print and web artwork.
Elizabeth Argo-Wilbanks relocated to El Paso from Savannah, GA in April 2011 and has strong ties to Ft. Bliss, TX. Liz brings many talents to The M Factor but her main focus is to actively interact with our target population with recuitment and education efforts.
